Anyone own these boots or have you heard anything good about them?

I was just seaching online for boots and I noticed women's boots are lame, so I'm getting a pair of men boots in a size 6. These are the only size 6 I came across on eBay. Any other sites I need to check out if these aren't good?

Yes, i've heard of AXO, ..to be honest, those boots look lame, try Gaerne.........http://www.motostrano.com/gaerneboots.ht...
Reply:Just go to Farm and Fleet and buy some workboots. You can try them on to make sure they fit. AND they're not lame. All your big TV motorcycle stars like Jesse James just wear a pair of worn out work boots, in case you haven't noticed.
Reply:just purchace a pair of steel toe work boots, the steel toe comes in handy when ur at a bar with a bunch of foul mouth harley riders that are making fun of ur bike calling it a rice burner. One time I was at a bar and this harley guy had these sissy looking boots that had a pointed toe and white laces, everybody was laughing at his boots, he thought he was a tough guy and he threatened everybody saying " if you laugh at my boots, you will be looking at them"
Reply:Axo make good quality safety equipment, probably better known for off-road. I find it is useful to try boots (and other equipment) on while sitting on your bike, make friends with your local dealer, if you are uncomfortable you are less likely to wear them so try another manufacturer Alpinestars, Frank Thomas and Sidi who all have women’s ranges.

Of course if you ride slowly or for the pose value you could go without and wear sandals but I wouldn't discourage you from making the choice to wear specifically designed safety equipment, workboots and steel toes won't protect ankles and tendons they are mainly designed to protect the wearer from something heavy dropping on the foot.
Reply:AXO makes a good all around boot for off road riding, but it is not the best as far as protection goes. But the wear rate and overall quality is really good....
Reply:The AXO's are good boots and should hold up well riding such as motocross or just off-road boonie bashing. And, yes, it;s sad but true, most women's boots don't measure up to the demands placed on them for which they are supposed to be designed. If the men's boots will fit ok, then I'd say you'll be happy with the AXO's.
Reply:I advise u to get on a site called bikerkiss to get more info. There are many motorcyclists there. I think they will give u some useful info.
